Ingredients

  • 1 slices Bacon (diced)
  • 2 g Black Pepper (cracked)
  • 1 tsp Butter
  • 15 g Cheese (Parmesan)
  • 1 whole Egg (lightly beaten)
  • 1 clove Garlic (crushed)
  • 1 serve Low Carb Spaghetti (qetoe brand)
  • 1 g Sea Salt (to season)

Instructions

  • 1. Place the spaghetti in a saucepan of boiling water with a tbsp of salt on the stove and cook for 5 minutes, until desired consistency. Transfer the pasta to a strainer and allow all of the liquid to drain, saving a few tablespoons of liquid to the side for the sauce.
  • 2. Slice bacon into small chucks. Fry bacon and crushed garlic clove in a pan over medium heat with the butter until golden and crispy
  • 3. Add the pasta to the fry pan with bacon and garlic. Heat cook over medium heat for 1-2 mins.
  • 4. Take the pan off the heat. Pour the beaten egg over the pasta and toss until coated, add some left over pasta water if required. Add parmesan cheese and toss well.
  • 5. Grind pepper over the top to season, and serve while hot.
