Keto Low Carb Salsa

A quick and easy salsa to whip up as a fresh and tangy side to any low carb Mexican dish!

  • 2.5 Tomatoes
  • 35 g Red onion
  • 1 small Garlic clove chopped, finely
  • 1 small Red chilli chopped, finely
  • 1.5 tbsp Fresh Coriander chopped, finely
  • 2 tbsp Flaxseed oil
  • 1 tbsp Olive oil
  • 1 small Lime freshly squeezed
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 pinch Black Pepper


  • You can either use a bullet blender to get the right consistency or just chop finely.
  • Dice the tomato flesh (once seeded centre is removed) and toss through the rest of the ingredients in a bowl
  • Or add roughly chopped onion, garlic, chilli, coriander to a small bullet blender and pulse a couple of times, then add in tomato flesh and seasoning and pulse again a couple of times (this will give a more jar of salsa consistency)
  • Serve straight away or store in a jar in the fridge
